REELFOOT NWR VS CROSS CREEKS NWR?????WHICH ONE???

I was drawn for the gun hunts on both the Reelfoot NWR Long Point Unit and Cross Creeks NWR Area 1 (Below the refuge headquarters). But doggone it, they're on the same weekend (Nov. 5-7). I'd like to hear from those of you who have hunted or know both areas and get your opinion on which one you'd hunt??? I've hunted the Cross Creeks NWR Area 1 two times in the last 4 years but only killed a doe each time as that hunt is an earn-a-buck hunt. The Reelfoot NWR hunt is not an earn-a-buck hunt, but I have never hunted that unit. What say ye??

I have never hunter the reafoot nwr its a little out of my range. If I had a choice I would opt for the one I have not hunted just to check it out and see some new territory. jmo

I'm gonna hunt Cross Creeks but not during the quotas. I wasn't drawn. I'll try to give you a report on what I see. I don't know anything about Reelfoot.

What ever was planted early was washed out by the May flood.I know the farmer did replant but my guess it will be flooded again today or tomorrow.

Na, I've got to cook at my in-laws' family re-union Saturday afternoon in Cordova. Gotta get my honey do's in before huntin' season! Most of the old committee has stepped aside and a handful of new blood is trying to make a go of it. I wish 'em luck, but they're not expecting 75 people. Very little advertising and being a fall banquet will contribute to that. It should be a buyer's banquet.
