Has anyone built a Deer Cart? Was thinking of building one, but was wondering what would be the best materials to use? Also cheap wheels? Any ideas or pics would be awesome.

check sportsmansguide.com I don't think you can buy all the materials cheaper than their price , they have them for $69.00 and I have seen them on sale there for $50.00 , northern tool has the wheel but I think they are 15 or 16 dollars , hope this helps...

It would be cheaper to buy one outright IMO. I weld and can purchase aluminum square tubing as well as steel tubing. I just found it much more economical to buy one.

Considering the time spent on it, you're absolutely right Duck; however the total parts were cheaper than buying one but it's a do-it yourself project and a sense of "a job well done" goes along way with me and everything having to do with deer hunting. Unlike every store bought version I have seen, this thing was designed to have a very low center of gravity and balanced so all your doing is pulling weight instead of pulling weight plus having to balance the thing--and with the bigger wheels it isn't hard to pull.

That's awesome, TNDeerGuy. I wish I could make one, but I neither a welder nor the knowledge required to weld.
How did you do all the bends in the conduit? The curves look way too good.

My brother-in-law and I used a $20 pipe bender from Harbor Freight, a square, a tape measure and some good old fashioned algebra/geometry. You may check with a high school or a community college near you. The only thing they will charge you for, most of time, is materials.
