Finally drawed for my first hunt there. Any suggestions?
WE get 1 day to scout hoping someone has experience there and wouldn't care to give a little advice

im in the same boat as u deerslazer, i got poplar crk rd dec 11-12 n i have no clue what im gettin myself into lol. heard there was some good ones hidin in there though.

The bucks are usually really on the move on the november hunt. As a matter of fact, the majority of the deer killed will be bucks on that hunt. The other hunts are often strongly influenced by the weather.
Word to the wise.....Look for escape routes, and THICK cover. When hunters hit the woods, the deer hit the escape routes. get the right spot and you will see alot of deer.
Also, pay attention to where people park on scout dates and how they walk in they will do the same thing on the morning of the hunt. if you know what direction they are headed you may be able to position yourself to kill an escaping deer. Some areas will be covered up with people and others will not have a soul. by lunchtime Sunday you will have the majority of the area to yourself.
