After 5 years, no. You cannot "recharge" activated charcoal in a drier. A drier doesn't get anywhere near hot enough.

Executives with the company that manufactures Scent lok have admitted under oath that it doesn't work - even when new. Google "scent lok class action lawsuit" if you're interested.

Fart while wearing it! That will answer your question.

I knew I was rooked when I farted in brand new Scentlok clothes.

Amazing that folks keep buying them. Mail order catalogs are full of scent blocker suits even though there never has been any scientific evidence to prove they work.

I guess it depends how still you are while wearing them and wich
way the wind is blowing.

When will hunters and the industry understand, as long as you
breath in the woods and some skin is exposed, you can't be scent
free.

On second thought though, I think the "industry" knows that you
can't. I guess if it makes money and creates jobs, it ain't all
bad though.

It's just up to an educated hunter's choice, as to wether or not
to buy some of these products.

Just basicly being clean and paying attention to the wind is
alot cheaper. I know we need clothing, but lord have mercy.

I have a set, and am aware that it isnt 100% , probally not even 25% effective. I got mine cheap on ebay and it is good quality clothing. I still watch the wind, spray, and stay clean, but it does give me a little more confidence, though I know it is not a super suit! Confidence=== success(although im still waiting )

I bought some cheap on ebay too simply cause I liked the pattern of camo it was and it is good quality clothing. Do they work? No... Do I still wear them everytime I'm out...yes... Because I love how they fit and feel on...

I agree,BUT,the reason I fell for the Scent LOc stuff was,I had the wind in my favor,he needed to take a few more steps, and the wind shifted, and he left.

It doesnt work, and even if it did, just too many things to smell, breath, skin cells, etc,to get by the nose of a deer. But I can understand that feeling of trying to give yourself the best chance, since you cant control wind shifts.

don't think it worked on day one if your talking about scent supression.

the Camo is probably pretty effective, have hunted in blue jeans back in the day though

I have used the stuff for many years (Scentlok/Scent Blocker) and still do... I'm not sure if this stuff really works but is does smell just like the scent killer sprays that we spray on our clothes to reduce scent.... I find it kind of interesting that all the big sporting good companies still sale and have for years, considering it doesn't work.... I always get it on sale so it doesn't cost me much more then buying the same coveralls or rain suit without it.... I guess if it gives me a mental edge, then I will keep using it.... \:\)

I've noticed that I seldom get ticks when wearing Scent Lok. When I'm doing early summer scouting, I wear scent lok pants and a Base Slayer shirt, head cover and hat. Even with just the Base Slayer shirt on, I'll seldom have more than 1 tick on me in areas that are incredibly infested with ticks. I've wondered if the carbon affects their ability to see me?
