Drove up to Sevierville Bass Pro for the classic and found out some news about Bass Pro in Nashville. Cashier said everything was set to open in August and then the parking lot and some of the mall fell into sink holes. She also said the holes were filling with water with from the river. She said when and IF it reopens it will be awhile. Anybody else have any info?

Hmmm...no mention of parking lot issues or relocation. All I know is I'm getting tired of internet and magazine shopping!!

I heard from the BP in Memphis they advised it would not open up the nashville one unitl October.

The superintendant for the construction company that is doing the remodel is telling us they are shooting for opening on September 15th. As of last week they were laying the hardwood floors and was starting to get stock in. There is still no firm date for re-opening the mall. I did hear there was some structural issues with the mall itself.

Bass Pro formally announced today to the press the Nashville store will open in time for Christmas...pretty vague but likely will not open before archery season. If we are lucky it might open before gun season. I've been wearing out my Academy Sports, but it is not the same.
