Anyone here hunting at Chickasaw WMA in Henderson? Haven't hunting this area in over ten years, drove through the area two weeks ago to look around. Lots of cut over areas and a ton of turkey signs and turkey. What about the deer population, any good? Is it still crowded during gun season? It use to be pretty good for archery, is that still the case? Any information would be appreciated.

Not sure of the trail name. Most of the trails that were open years ago have either been closed or are only one way dead ins. I drove from one end to the other, I was on the northside of 100, about a mile or so east of the park entrance.

I saw one flock of 15 birds crossing the trail. Saw 4 toms for sure. Do you hunting Chickasaw often?
