I take does at the end of season to fill mine and friends freezers.I also take a few to the Nashville rescue mission.. I do my own processing. I will take one to get made into sausage though.. As far as bucks go I won't shoot it unless its 125+...

My expectations seem to change every , by that I mean in the middle of every year when the season starts to dwindle down and ,the freezer looks a little bare.........

I ain't too choosey,I just like to kill deer and eat them..I will not shoot anymore fawns with my bow like my first bow kill..LOL But I do try to take some does during archery, always try for the biggest, but if she won't come close enough then i'll stick what ever is closest,as long as its not a fawn..and I do pass on smaller bucks..Try to shoot at least 2.5yr olds an up..But I have yet to kill a buck with my bow,so I will shoot any buck with my bow!

Got to be a dang good buck for me. I let probally 25 different bucks walk last season. I do regret letting one of them walk. Neighbor shot him and he was a little better than I thought. O well. Also I will kill a couple doe for me and others wanting meat.

Generally, any female at first opportunity, and any buck 3 1/2+, regardless of antler size.
But if I haven't killed a buck by late November, a top-end 2 1/2 starts to look really good!
