boy was it hot. got one big platform stand moved and was wanting to move another one into a gravel pit but couldnt find a tree big enough. looks like ill have to put me a ground blind in there. got another stand put back up that got knocked over from the ice storm year before last. cut some trees out where were putting a tower blind at in a few weeks after we bushhog. im wore out now. just took a shower fixing to kick back and watch little league baseball.
were bush hogging in 2 weeks and putting up a tower blind and a chain on stand and we'll be ready to go!! next year if i move or put new stands up it will be during winter or spring time.

I put up 1 lock-on and put out some Trophy rocks and cameras. Started at about 6 this morning, and dang glad I did. It was hot enough then.

Yeah im not doin no more than I have to during all this heat. I usually try to do all my stand moving after each deer season. I know its cold but id rather do it in the cold as in the hot.

Generally, the heat doesn't bother me but I got too hot yesterday. Since I was alone, I decided to be safe and wear my snake boots and snake chaps while checking cameras. I was over dressed to say the least.
I had a 400-500 yard walk through the hills(and spiderwebs) to a new spot. I had 50 pounds of corn and my camera bag. When I got there I set everything up and realized my SD card was still in my Ranger so I got to walk back out and then back in and then back out. That took the fun out of my recreation activity.
