Nice. Always great to get some new areas to hunt. Hope you get a good one off it. I'm trying to get permission for a new property in South Knox off Chapman Hwy tomorrow.

I have a place off of chapman hwy that I hunt. Its a little farther out...I am also getting to hunt a small parcel in Rockford this season for the first time... Thats why I say I may not have the time to even hunt grainger co...If I'm lucky work will be getting in the way ....

I hear Rockford is a great area to hunt. Of course I've never hunted it but the area looks great with the little river running through it. Chapman I know well. There are some decent older bucks that I believe come from surrounding mtns that show up on different property I hunt that normally only keeps 2-4 does on it. My own version of Deer City USA... ;\)

I know what you mean,...The place I hunt seems to have a doe core group that consists of 2- 4 animals...but I will usually see 12 to 16 differants bucks thru out the season....
