How bout let's call it Selective Hunter instead of Trophy Hunter? I myself am a selective hunter.

Think I would fall into that catagory. Some days I select not to kill a doe then other days I chosse to whack and stack.

I've called my "choosey" for many years........and even LAZY, because I refuse to drag out anything under 120"...lol.!

I select to shoot the deer I want. If I am labeled a certain type hunter by someone, that's okay with me, because guess what......I don't really care.
I think hunters get too caught up in what others do. Worry about your goals and write off what others think or say about your deer hunting goals.

Good point .....and is more aptly a correct description since we all use different standards of what a trophy deer is to each of us and why we may shoot it one day but because we have taken one buck that size we arent likely to shoot a second of the same size.....i usually have to go up in size from the first i shoot. I like this description better than trophy. Great point in fact.
