I've been saying it for the past 2 years that I was gonna start useing my 30-30 again, and I didn't,but since I got a new redfield on her,im definatly useing it this year more than I have anyway..If not my 30-30 i'll have my Rem 700 30-06

Thats what I plan on using at least part of the time...My son gave me a winchester mdl 70 in the super grade for christmas last year... 
If the weather turns sour I might drag the '06 rem pump back out....maybe!..

a 40mm on quality optics allows shooting well past legal light. it has nothing to do with field of view.

Wish we could just do away with ML season and change it to any weapon Amen. Hate muzzleloaders. But twra wants to sell us another license not me!! i would rather do away with rifle season. muzzleloader is my favorite and my vacation every year.

30-06 Ruger M77 I would like to try my new Remington R-15, but a little leary due to the .223 round being so small. I might dig it out later and go for some neck shots.

My Ruger Hawkeye in 358 Win that I could not get bloody last year.
I also have a 243, 264 Win Mag, and a 30-06 that I need to get bloody as well.

i never said that. i said i would rather lose rifle season than muzzleloader. i don't wish they would do away with either.
