IMO it is very hard to field judge antler score while a deer is still in velvet, and/or while driving. Without binoculars it is even tougher. 160" is a heck of a lot of antler for here or anywhere else in the SE.

I've seen a few pics this year of the brentwood/percy warner park deer... seem to be a little bigger than last year so far.

It's early I know, but I've got a buddy who hunts there and forwarded me a trail cam pic of a deer which is an easy 140", yet appears to be only 2.5!

I use to see a a nice buck on Chickering (across from the park). Every afternoon there he was, in the front yard of same person's house. It was like clockwork.

Very nice! Hopefully he can put on a few more inches before he is finished growing.

no doubt its hard to judge in velvet but this area consistantly produces 150 and 160 class bucks and larger...yes larger, the one I saw was a 12 pointer for sure, 18" spread minimum, and 12" g2's +/- an inch, any way you look at it....it was a buck people dream of and travel to other states and pay to hunt, it wasn't near any place I have permission but it got my blood pumpin', oh and by the way it was only about 65 yds from the side of the road, just down from Chickering on Hillsboro rd

With the size of deer 51pointer has taken ill trust his judgment when he says its a 160 class buck. Most people can't say they have seen a 160 class buck in the wild like 51pointer has... Heck If it hadn't of been for hunting in texas last year I would be the same way...
