A 160" buck on hillsboro rd. or anywhere around that area is not all that uncommon! I am sure you did see a 160". I ride and check several spots i know around there in the evenings and its uncommon if you don't see a high 140's and 150's class buck and lots of 120 and 130. Seen plenty 160's and better over the 18 years i have lived there. I know where i can go see a 160+ almost every evening off a unamed side street off hillsboro...

Lots of WHOPPER bucks in that area. Tops in the state in my opinion.

Tyne Blvd off Hillsboro rd is the spot to check out.... I know two guys that bow hunt within spitting distance of that road and have the most prime monster buck opportunities that would trump most of the big buck states. They regularly pass on 150+ and have seen some raw footage of the deer they hunt. What is so great about it, they pay nothing to hunt it. Just a homeowner that doesn't like deer!!!!

Big deer in town no doubt. Radnor has some huge bucks. I saw one hiking in November a few years ago that was 5x5 with split brow tines. He was defintely a 150-155 basic frame, maybe better. Gross he would have been 160-170. He was about 10 feet from the trail with a doe and I saw him twice that day. There are huge deer in town for sure. I have seen pictures from people's backyards in that area of multiple 140-165 deer.

IMO it is very hard to field judge antler score while a deer is still in velvet, and/or while driving. Without binoculars it is even tougher. 160" is a heck of a lot of antler for here or anywhere else in the SE. your right, but I would bet on his judgement, hes killed a couple of "goodens"
I have been lucky as well over the years, and know plenty of others who have killed huge deer, and they usually wade cautiously into the judging deer arena.
I do not doubt it being possible.
