Usually 3 to 4 times as many. Some years, back when I hunted a lot, I didn't kill any bucks at all but may kill as many as 12 does.

Used to take far more does than bucks. Now we don't have to. We try to take equal numbers because the population is down after EHD and we have a balanced sex ratio.

I hunt both TN and TX, so my number may vary. I take more does than bucks by about 2:1.

For the past many years, I've averaged 2 1/2 to 3 female deer per each antlered buck I've taken. And no matter what the population is or is not, due to whatever, I'll intend to take at least as many female as male deer on an ongoing basis.

I always try to. I had to look through the ole hunting journal to see what my average is.
In the last 6 years of hunting in TN I've killed:
Bucks-11
Does-19

I always try to equal it out 1 to 1 but usually end up killing a couple more doe that bucks. I am too picky on bucks and don't shoot fawns or a doe with small fawns.

The last two seasons I have seen more bucks 5 to 1 than I have does where I hunt in unit B.....in fact I have voluntentarily eaten my special season doe tags for the past two seasons...

No I usually take way more does. I will kill 7 to 10 does a year and only one or two bucks. Usually I won't shoot a buck If am not going to mount it...

I kill does at certain times only, i am only buck hunting most of the gun season and i try to do most of doe killing in bow season but make some exceptions in MZ also.
I usually pic a late season date around Christmas and make that a doe killing day. I like putting the meat to use!
