Looking to buy a ground blind to mainly bowhunt out of. I have a gift card for basspro but can't decide. Anyone have experience with the Primos Escape Deluxe by Ground Max or the Ameristep Bone Collector? I know the Double bull always gets some praise but can't cough up the extra $$$.

Before I bought one anywhere I'd check out ebay. I've bought two brand new Ameristep doghouse blinds on there for less than $50 each. There are occassionally some real deals on there with online companies wanting to close out last years stock. It is better right aftyer the first of the year, but still worth checking now.

I have the dbl bull, my buddy has the bone collector. His is lighter and not as durable IMO. The material is like a poncho or rain jacket and kinda has a shine to it, but it does come with bag with backstraps to carry it and you can attach your bow so less to carry in your hands. I'm partial to the dbl bull.

Check out the Primos Vision blind at Rogers Sporting Goods. It's made similar to the Double Bull blind at over half the cost. Comes in both Predator camo and Mossy oak Shadow Branch. You won't be disappointed!!

Get the deluxe, you will be glad you did if you bow hunt from it. Love mine.

Thanks for the info. I ordered one this evening. I'll give a review once I get it. Guess I'll save the gift cards for something else. Just seemed like a good deal for a blind that has gotten some great reviews.
