Anyone hunting illinois this season?
if you are hunting illinois they had a lot of archery tags left over so you can get them mid aug . over the counter.

Archery tags go on sale Aug.3rd at 8:00am I'll be there with a bow, and a gun also if I get drawn. I can't wait!

Going to be tough. All the rain has delayed the harvest, fields are so tall you can't see the deer. Folks up there say bookings are way down and sightings are few and far between. Myabe it will dry out some by the time the season opens.

I'd love to, but I can't justify those license prices to hunt public land for a week. Maybe if I had two weeks then it would be ok, but I doubt work will let me have 2 weeks right now.

You can buy your bow tags, first come first serve on the internet, or by phone, just go to Illinois DNR. The gun applications have to be in by Aug. 14th if not mistaken. The thing about Illinois is you don't never know what might walk by .

I hear that. Thanks tickweed. I have been hunting SE Ohio for the last 3 years but I'm going to pass on this year. And was thinking about hunting Ill only bow hunting though. Was looking at Johnson county and gallatin county also
