Some do, some don't. I've seen every pattern imaginable. But it is not uncommon to see an individual buck show the same pattern in seasonal range from year to year.

I could see where similar evironmental conditions (mast, hunting pressure, deer densities, even the bucks age... etc...) from one year to the next might influance the deer to somewhat repeat thier season patterns from one year to the next...I could also imagine where substantial changes in those same environmental conditions could cause them to alter thier seasonal patterns... ...I guess I have no idea!!...

You're right on the money tndrbstr. In fact, in areas where large-scale agriculture adjoins a large area of hardwoods, you will see two distinct patterns based on acorn production. In good acorn years, deer that have been clustered around and in the ag fields in summer will shift away from the fields in early fall and deep into the hardwoods to access acorns. Yet in that same area in a poor acorn year, deer DON'T shift away from the fields in fall. The food sources are better around and in the harvested crop fields than in the hardwoods, hence no seasonal shift away from the ag fields.
