Do the rangers allow you to camp at Wolf River WMA/Ghost River Natural area during hunting season? I can't seem to find any info. If so, are there certain areas they want you to camp and can you "car camp" (next to on in your vehicle)?

Is there anywhere to camp close by? I looked around on the internet and couldn't find a pay campground, much less a hotel anywhere close by.

I don't know anywhere close by to camp. There is a hotel in Grand Junction which is about 10 minutes away. Wish I could remember the name but its a mom and pop not a national chain.

There are some hotels at Bolivar, LaGrange, and Somerville. I've stayed at the Fairfield Inn(?) at Somerville. Its OK. The one at Grand Junction appears to be recently remodeled. Big Hill Pond State Park is about 30-45 minutes east of Grand Junction, they have camping. Holly Springs National Forest is just south of the state line about 15 minutes into Mississippi. I don't know for sure but I bet they have camping areas.
