opening morning i will be setting on a trail leading into an unbelievable bedding area. That evening i will be hunting my food plot...already seeing 4-5 bucks feeding in it just about every evening....

Wherever I find the most/freshest sign. Most likely either chestnut or white oaks if past years' patterns hold.

I hunt farmland.The deer feed in the beans and corn and bed in the beans and corn.BUT they do come out to drink.Thats where i wait.

I was just going to walk fences and see if I can find a big buck with its leg caught up in one.  Opening morning Im actually going to have my 7 year old son with me so we will hunt close to the truck. Probably along side a bean field. Afer that I am going to hunt some saddles and funnels deep woods.

I'll be hunting where I always do, in the whiteoak stands mostly.

Edge of a beanfield where several big oak trees are dropping acorns onto the field. Big old thicket about 25 yards behind me.

my setups hardly change during the season,I "try"to hunt between where I think the deer are,and where they are going to eat.
