GREAT POINT....i think i am going to create a "time Log" this year to actually enter my time in and out of the hunting woods to see the actual time spent there.....i estimate that i spent at least 4 hours minimum every day during the gun seasons last season and============================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================================== some days the entire day when on vacation.

No, someone just needs to explain themselves better! ;\)

Just pokin' at ya' Tomahawk!

VERY true BSK. I have a bad tendency of saying much more inside this old bucket head of mine...lol... but can't seem to get in to words down on screen. In most cases its better to just ignore me... grinning and laughing.

No reason to ignore you. Just remember that here on TNdeer, if you mispeak or don't explain yourself, someone is going to jump on you! But that's actually a good thing. In my opinion, it is these "details" discussions that present the best of TNdeer.

I know that i've never felt anything but good in that moment when i've settled in my stand waiting on the sunrise and any action that might follow.

Consistency is the main reason for any success i've had deer hunting. That means a lot of careful time in the woods, thinking, walking, observing, and planning for the best chance. I agree that any time spent doing such things can only be beneficial provided that a hunter realizes that his/her figurative footprint, or intrusion must be considered as it will certainly affect deer behavior, especially if it becomes too predictible.
