i dont believe in the rubber boot thing, never used them never will. i just spray down with scent eliminator stuff all over me, then put cover scent on boots and had hundreds of deer walk right over my tracks with out incident. but i do believe in rituals, so to speak. i think the camo pattern is mainly here to catch us hunters like someone else on here said. its a billion dollar industry.

The scent eliminator stuff is more of a gimmick, too. Play the wind and you will be fine. Even with scent blocker, they will smell you.

Get you a pair of Muck boots and don't look back. Most comfortable boot I've ever wore and I think I've owned all of them.
They are pretty darn tough also. I rabbit hunt in some of the most nasty stuff you can imagine and my pair held up without a leak all winter. I'm hoping they hold up another year or two. I'll be honest, I didn't expect them to hold up but they have.
