Then I think he followed up with no when you asked him if he was TWRA.

Just my take on it.

I remember a thread about this back a month or so ago and if I remember correctly someone from TWRA did confirm it was considered bait.... don't know for sure though, my memory ain't any better than my golf game.

I am not TWRA but I did stay in a Country Inn & Suites in Chattanooga a few times. \:D

Prolly got a little meth poisioning there to help out
your golf game \:D they have been know to do that there

Guess I'll have to wait for a Twra explanation if it is bait or not and what makes it bait but I appreciate you guys responding anyway. I was making my boy some blackberry jello right after reading the baiting topic and got curious. It is an interesting subject definitely.

I don't see how it would be considered bait because it don't have any food grains in it?

Jello is a food. The last time I read Tenn Hunting Guide it was anything that is a food is bait. A Hershey's candy bar is food and would be bait. Pepper is a food grain and so is cocoa which makes chocolate. Food coloring is a food.

Jello has sugar and/or artificial sweeteners in and that alone would make it a food.

Salt is a mineral while pepper is a food. A mineral is in the earth and is dug up from the ground while pepper is grown in a plant. The ocean water can be dried out and it will leave the salt at the bottom of the bucket, that's where we get our "Sea Salt".

Not all food cannot be recovered from a body while all minerals inside a body can be recovered and used again. Gelatin in the form of Collagen can be recovered from the animal bones and other animal parts.

I guess it falls under "mixture of any ingredients as used for food purposes". Too bad they don't make acorn flavored jello. Lol

There was sometalk last season about using koolaid. Jello would fall into the same category...both would be considered bait.
