Your right about the blinds tomahawk i usually only use them in turkey season and have deer been spooked then from them.

that blind you have is awesome. maybe one day ill break down and get one cause i'd sure like to have one.

Would be great for gun hunting but kind of small shooting lanes for bowhunting.I would like to try one but they are way over priced.

Who shot back on the Deer?

No there is plenty of room for shooing bow. (i'm primarily bowhunter) In the picture I have it wrapped around in semi-circle. But you can flatten it out for broader coverage and widen your shooting port.

i was just looking at the low spots that you would have to shoot through or else you have to raise up over it to shot.Don't think I would like that.

I can say for sure that I have no problems staying crouched in position and releasing arrow. Even on turkey which are much lower target. Now if you set up on real steep incline then you may need to make adjustment. Some day you may come across one and you can judge for yourself. I can only say that for me it is easy to release a shot at various angles.

You certainly could build one. But I doubt that it is as well thought out and as easy to take in and set up. Not to mention the quality, the very light weight, and so far the durability. You might try some aluminum thin sheets that have that mirror shine to it. ANGLE IT SLIGHTLY DOWNWARD. Shouldn't be to hard to fabricate something. Good Luck! If your successful, let me know. Will get it on the market and give these boys at ghost blind a run for there money.

Summit stand would not be hard at all. metal, welder, and ruler. But I buy the products I don't make or sell them. So my opinion on the ghost blind is only what I have experienced. I'm not telling you that you need to BUY this. But rather just trying to inform you of something that actually does what it says it can do. And go the extra mile to take personal pics to help you see for yourself how effective it is. You get more than just the product itself. You get a new world of hunting. When could you ever just walk out into a cut corn field and sit 15 yards or less from where you know the deer will enter. Never could hunt before because no trees or the pop up blind you put up got blown away in a storm. I didn't realize you are a seller of hunting products. You want to sell me something else besides this product so obviously your opinion will be bias on this particular subject. But thanks for the input.

I only sell products that I use and believe in... Have used Summits for over 14 yrs and have wore Mucks for the last 3 seasons... I was just making a point about a product that I seen at a hunting show last year... The price seemed a little high for the product... I even thought of trying to figure out how to copy it...JMO... My father is the one that has a hunting business (coon hunting). I just dabble on the side to support my own habit..LOL

Well let me be the first to apologize if I seemed to get testy. Wasn't meaning to be. I am like you. I support what I believe in. I love summit and muck as well and commend you for dabbling in great products. Trust me I to thought the price was too high. But I made that plunge on a gut feeling and now just want to help others see what a great product this could be for them or their own make shift version. Like I've said before, I not pushing the company, I'm pushing the innovation.

I totally agree... I thinks its a cool product and it would work with the background you are hunting in... I have always wondered (this neck of the woods) why they don't use more dead leaf brown colors for camo to use in late fall... It wood be cool to have a bblind that blends with the dead leafs on the side of the ridges in E. TN...JMO

Well buddy what the hell do you think I've been showing you here. This ALWAYS matches its surroundings. For goodness sakes its a mirror!

Best I can describe is a thin type of plexi glass that has a soft 1/4-1/2 inch backing on it. This helps to keep it rigid. The backing is like a condensed foam that has thin outer shell (protection for foam) on the back side. (see pic of back) It has tie downs that secure very well and quickly to the ground. As you can see in original post it is set up on a slope but does not affect set up at all. It really is a cool piece of equipment. If your around knoxville I will even try to let you see it first hand.
