I have to force myself to NOT think about deer hunting 365/24.
As I allow myself to start thinking about the season, the pump gets primed more and more. About now, 75 days before bow opens, I feel the valves becoming more and more pressurized. Seeing deer in fields/woods that I hunt, gaskets are bulging and the "Warning" flashers are going off.
When that first deer walks into bow range, it is ON! Sheezzz, I can't believe I got that worked up... and it's still 75 days, 6 hours and 14 minutes!
Deep breaths, deep breaths, deep breaths... cold shower when I get home.
