Man! Deer love these things! Put 2 out on our place last year and went back this year and the stumps they were sitting on were almost dug up out of the ground!! The second rock we checked you could see were they had pawed a hole under the stump and are sticking their heads up under it to lick up the minerals I guess! Amazing!

I used to put them out. They definitely keep the deer coming by during hot weather.
I quit putting them out last year because I got tired of paying for 4 of them at a time.

Just use plain ol loose trace mineral salt! Its a fraction of the cost and works as well if not better than the TR does. I switched exclusivelly several years ago after testing and proving there was NO advantage in use by the TR whatsoever, NONE!

Did you test it in the fall and winter?I never had deer use salt in winter but they use the TR.there is a diffence when I have used it.
