I'm looking to buy a range finder. Do you all have any suggestions?

I use a Bushnell and really like it. I don't know the model or anything but it cost something like $159. I got it at Bass Pro but I also saw them for sale at Wal Mart today.

With all the range finders on the market today one is good as the other as far a standard range finders...But now if you are bow hunting the Archers Choice by Bushnell is sweet for treestand hunting. I have both the Nikon and Bushnell 800 series and now the Bushnell for bow hunting. Takes the guess work out of hold low or high based on your height in the tree... Shop around..Good Luck...

I have a nikon that ranged 400 yards and like it fine but i would seriously consider the leupold true compensation one if i were buying another.

I kind I wonder about range finders that figure in the angle and yardage... I played with a Bushnell 450 pro last year and it seemed to correct the yardage. I would range a tree level while I was hanging about 20 ft up. Then when I ranged the same tree near the bottom it would add a few yards on... I guess it would work fine with out paying more for one of these angle range finder...JMO

I had a leupold and didn't like it. I bought a zeiss and it is 100 times better. Handheld, but maybe 50% larger. If I had it to do over, I would check out the leicas which are smaller.
