I have seen two real full on fights between pretty evenly matched bucks . One was when i still lived in AR and i was late season bass fishing. These two brutes went at it for a good 20 mins and i mean they tore up the whole ridge fighting. I was dying that i didnt have my camera i almost always take fishing or hunting. the second was on my farm in henry Co. It was between a buck my brother later killed and a even bigger deer we never saw again that i guess was just passing through during doe searching. It was late Oct and they were just really gearing up to rut but these two didnt seem to like each other even a little bit i swore the bigger deer .. which was atleast 150+ inches of 10 point was gonna break the neck of the slightly smaller nine point my brother later killed ... i have posted pics of that brute so that gives a clue of the size of the bigger one. Never seen anything else close to how ferocious these things seem when really fighting.

Almost all horned male animals fight, and many of them are very
impessive, but a true mature Whitetail fight to live and pass on
THEIR genes is unparalled.....in my opinion.
Like BSK said, a penned and tame Whitetail buck will kill you in
a New York...second.
I have read several articles that say a captive Whitetail buck is
the most dangerous animal in the world, during the rut.
