on your persons for your rifle when you go deer hunting?i have a boot on my .243 that holds 6 shots and i carry a couple of extras in my pocket.talked to a guy yesterday at sportsmans warehouse in chattanooga and told me he carries 2 boxes/40 rounds on him when he hunts.seemed like overkill to me.i usually carry a box but i leave it in the truck if i need it.

I have a rifle cartridge holder on my T/C Encore that holds 8 or 10, which is overkill.

Rifle full and 10 more. Overkill but it comes from hunting back country and you never know when you are gonna have to fire that 3 shot volley.
