Yes it did. What really sucks I think he was only 2.5 years old. I will post the jaw bone to see what everybody else thinks.

I was kinda thinking that he may have gotten hit by a car Wes. He was only about 200 yards from the road. And 20 ft from a creek.
If that missing antler was broken off instead of naturally shed, good point about the car. Could also have been shot closer to the road, gut shot, headed to the creek. Road-running poachers may wound and kill more deer than they recover.

Yep I know that's right Wes. This is the second big deer we have found in the last 3 years. The rumor on the other deer was it was shot off the road and they never found it. With that being said that same year the guy that suposely shot the other buck was busted a half mile away with a huge 9 point that had a drop tine also

The other antler looked like a shed. Real nice and smooth not jagged or anything that make me think different

Ya that would have been a really great buck so many of them die just like that without ever getting killed by a hunter
