Anyone have any deer hunting experience with some of Kentucky's WMA such as Yellowbank or Pennyrile? Any comments would be appreciated.

Applications are submitted in September. Pennyrile was devastated by the ice storm. A tremendous amount of logging and clear cutting has occurred.

Yeah me to. Yellowbank is right up close to the IN/IL border and has atler restrictions...seems like a nice combination.

Barren River has a ton of public ground that can be hunted during the open season (non-quota). The draw hunt, if it is still available, is usually VERY late in the season. I want to say, somewhere around the first of the year....I could be wrong though.
