I sure hope our hunters don't do exactly what we allow them. If they did, we'd kill every deer within the state before the second gun season rolled around! Most don't or can't, but there are some who try.
I'm sure the percentage is very low of the folks that try, redblood...not enough for TWRA to worry about

I agree with that ahall but if you go back and read through the fawn threads we had about 10 percent of the respondees saying they killed fawns because they were legal. That is a scary high percentage to me.

Possibly the primary motive was to eat them and the fact that they were legal allowed them to do it?

i don't think anyone said they shot fawns because twra told them to.They were just saying they would shoot one if they want because its a legal deer same as its legal to shoot a 10 pointer.They said that because some people look down on them for doing it even though its legal.

,we are at the peak of big game hunting here & i hope it keeps on forever but im a realist,its not going to happen,look to other states that started where we are & see where they are now.as i get the $ needed im will be buying lifetime lic for my family that dosent already have them.you all have a great day & dont look at just tomorrow as there's some days after that that you may not see but can make a difference if you choose,mike243
