I enjoy every aspect of hunting. It do feel sometimes like i need to go vs. wanting to go, but I think if you work hard at anything we all have those moments when we get a little tired and don't feel like going/doing whatever it is you're doing. I also think though that the one's that get up and go are going to be rewarded with success more than the ones that don't.

I work harder at deer hunting than I do at work. The difference is when you're doing something you really like it's a labor of love. There are mornings that I'm really tired and could easily stay in bed but deer season doesn't last long and the window of prime time is even shorter. I can rest up after it's all over.

For me when i decided to only shoot 3 1/2 yr old bucks or older, thats when it got fun for me, yeh i shoot fewer deer but for me its being in the woods and letting it wash over me and getting rid of the normal stress's of the dailey grind.

I get more enjoyment now out of all the habitat work that I do.
Yup, I get enjoyment from many aspects of the whole experience, not just the actual hunt. I enjoy working on habitat year round as well as running trail-cameras, etc. The actually hunting is only a small part of the entire experience.
In fact, that's why I enjoy "managing" a property so much. It takes what was just a seasonal experience (fall hunting) and turns it into a year round adventure.
