Nope, just not something I would prefer to do. If I'm hunting for meat, I'll wait for a bigger doe that's worth my trouble before I waste my tag on a fawn.

I have thought about hitting them with the atv. My visibility is better on the atv and I move pretty slowly. I figure that they have a better shot by driving.through with the 4 wheeler first.

I not sure I understand how the size of a deer has anything to do with this statement. Looks to me like a big deer will have more blood. The mess has to do with how well you know how to clean one. Either way a big deer has more of everything.

is what i am trying to say is the "yuppie"hunter today who is afraid to mess with them....

2...the movie "bami"protrays hunting in whole wrong way....that makes the shooting of young deer pull on your heart strings......but whats the diffrence in killing them in spots and killing them 2 years later????..the still dead and are going to get eaten....arent they?......but i liked the movie bami when i was younger....but once i went hunting and saw how things worked....i think that movie is wrong....deer dont act like that....but their is alot of people who think that it does work like that and the cring and cry when you shoot ?""bambi"".....

The difference between killing a baby and a mature deer is that mature deer has developed a skill set that allows him/her to have a fair chance at survival. it also does not project hunters as mindless indiscriminant killers but rather as selective harvesters.
