with all this rain we have had and have been having that there will be as many acorns as last year?

I don't know, but I have seen some fruit trees loaded down. Down the road from me, there is a peach tree with the limbs sagging.

I hope not either..I mean I do for the deers sake and health,but then I don't because they are so hard to hunt when there is a bumper crop of acrons,just like this past year..My sightings was way down..BUt the sign was still there,and I got tons of trail cam pics,they just wasn't moving much..

From earlier observations i belive there will be a heavy crop of white oak....not sure about red oak yet...

Seeing a big acorn crop developing (before they hit the ground) still doesn't mean we'll have many (edible) acorns.
But it is good to know we "might" have a good acorn crop, as the alternative of having no acorns developing assures us we won't.
