How many of you use a slug gun any more??
A buddy of mine was talking about that last night. He just got a 11-87 with rifled barrel and told me he was going to use it this season. Got me thinking at some of my stand locations it would be a great choice. My old slug gun is a Mossburg Regal 500 with rifled barrel. It should cut though some hind...you think?

I used to hunt Illinois every year until they became so non-resident unfriendly. I have a Browning Gold and shoot Federal Barnes Expanders. Very accurate. I need to start hunting with it around here. It hasn't been out in 5 or 6 years.

I have a Mossberg 500 and hunt Priest. I just got a slug barrel for it and I am excited about the opportunity to use it this season. I believe it is gonna make a big difference.

I'm thinking about getting a slug barrel for my Mossberg 500, just for something different to hunt with occasionally.
