Went out to the 100 acres that I lease to check on my summer food plot. Boy was I disappointed, the timber company was scheduled to do some thinning after turkey season and they did. The bad news is they decided my food plot site looked like a great place for their log deck, boy am I mad

Don't blame you. You should have time to get it back in shape if they are already done logging. It won't make up for the lost work but the new undergrowth should help the deer.

Funny logger story. Several years ago they were cutting some of our lease and we wnt and met with them. We had one tree that we had killed numerous deer out of so we asked if they could leave it and the ladder stand that was attached too it. They said sure and marked the tree. They left it alright but a bulldozer had backed over it and made a u out of our deer stand and killed the tree. LOL
