In Tn, the heavest buck I got was the 14 pointer I shot in the Tn part of LBL. He weighted 182 lbs dressed. They weighted him at the LBL check station and I still have the tag. by the way, that was my very first deer.

About 20 years ago in Humphrey's County. It was either 155 or 165 dressed.
Only had HEAVY cork screw spikes. Spikes were as thick as a hoe handle. It was not a young deer.

BSK, I have saw 3 over 200lbs field dressed, certified scale, from Anderson and Roane co's. Not a seed of agriculture from these areas either. They were 212, 236, 240, all field dressed and weighed on certified scales. All 3 of these deer were killed in a 5 year stretch back in the mid to late 80's as well. 2 of these deer would have pushed 300 lbs live weight :o!!!

Doe - 135 lbs live wt. Coffee Co. 1994
Buck - 2006 PENN 250 live wt. 10 pt. 153"
I've killed 3 other bucks that I estimate around 250 live wt. although I think they might have been 250 plus. They were killed in Kentucky, Kansas and Missouri and I didn't have access to scales so its just a guess but I feel is pretty close although it could be a little heavy. The 3.5 yr old 14 pt that I killed last year in Kentucky was 200 live wt. weighed on a neighbors scale.

Those are some serious deer Winchester. The only place in the Southeast where I've seen true 300 lb live weight deer is along the Mississippi River floodplain.
