I love finding a good tree to hang a stand and creating travel corridors that flow right by my stand. I'll usually put a trophy rock about 20 yards from my stand so the deer get used to coming in the area. I'll get the chainsaw out and hinge-cut trees to block off areas I don't want the deer to travel.
I'll try to take pictures next time I'm in one of these areas. Does anybody else do this or have pictures of their stands they have created?

yes i do
had some dozer work done one time and told the guy where and how to pile up the trees so that it would make a funnel and it has produced alot but that was years ago and the pile is about gone now but the deer got use to coming through that spot and continue to do so

Only when im forced to do so, and its usually only for Archery stands.

Me too. I try not to disturb the area too much, but I have done it before.
