I saw a post on another thread that brought this question to mind.

Of all the deer you killed last year how many of them were killed on public property where anyone can hunt and how many of them were killed on private property and leases where only certain people can hunt?

I killed all 5 of mine on private property.

The ones i killed last year were on private but I have taken some good deer on public land in the past. I don't hunt public as much as I use to because I'm on a lease now, but public land surrounds the property.

Every deer I killed was on private. I hunted a bunch on public ground, just couldn't quite pull it off though.

My land borders public land and the three deer I killed last year were all on the public land when they were shot. Saw plenty other deer too on the public land.

All of mine ever have been on private. Turkey hunted on public land a few times and deer hunted just a couple but for the most part always hunted on private land.

All 3 deer I killed was on private land..I did hunt some public land during bow season, and a little during gun,but I just couldn't connect..I've never killed on public land,All my deer have been killed on private land..But its not that im not trying, past 2 years I've really tried hard during bow season to try to whack one on public land..But them public land deer are a little more skidish/wild than private land deer!

Between myself and my Dad and my 2 boys:
I think probably a dozen were killed on public property, with the remaining 15 or 20 on Private property.
