You are right in part, but Eastern KY coalfields and TN coal fields are not truly one in the same. Sure they are geologically similar, but you have the TN region and the KY region.

You should see some of the absolute monsters in Fentress County. 2/3 buck limit hasn't hurt that area, and it's quite mountaineous.

But most of those "monsters" dont come from land that is actually affected by the current regulations.

I strongly disagree.
i don't, smstone22 hit the nail on the head, i don't know alot about fentress other than there are some big ones killed there but it's about the same here, not all but most of the bigger ones come off of or very close to land that managed for big bucks

Places around here that arent kept away from poachers and antler hungry hunters are just like the rest of the state. We are just blessed to have several large protected tracts and very hard to access public land.

I got fiend that has killed three dandy bucks from public land in fentrees co..two 10's and a 13 pointer, they were all older deer...I am not sure of where it is exactly but he said it was pretty remote. Some where next to a private farm that raised pheasents and sold tower shoots I think...He could only access it with a pretty good four wheeler ride..then according to him the horse riders had it shut down to all motorised vehicle traffic after a tornado or something like that went thru..

Yep know right where your talking about. Horse riders from Yankee land about shut down everything public here, it has allowed some age to get on the bucks in those places. For hunting purposes,I stay on the opposite side of the county from that public land/horse nonsense.

I guess it all depends on what your definition of a mountain is. I certainly am not qualified to make that distinction, are you?

Life is way too short to get in this sort of debate. The old you ain't from around here bs.

You just like picking, don't have anything of substance to add, just some sort of pitiful childish grudge to push forth. Okay, if that is what fulfills your life.

Don't think I could have been any clearer in my follow up, but I guess that is difficult to comprehend for some.

You haven't been clear about anything!!... other than the fact that you just can't seem to find any middle ground with ANYBODY that doesn't share YOUR opinion.....

Yeah right, you just have trouble paying attention to things which don't fit your agenda. As sad as that is.
