I hate to admit it ,but just maybe on the big cats.I have had many around here come to me ,honest church going people swearing they have seen them.I hate to eat crow.I have been in the woods all my life,and never seen sign of a cat.Bears now thats a different story ,we have em come through all the time.My friend at work who lives (in Bell county KY) Took Pictures of a mother bear with 4 cubs.Now that is unusual,unless she adopted one or two

Several years ago I was hunting on South Cherokee close to Dutch Settlement just down the mtn from Pace Gap and saw something large and black less than 200 yards down the ridge from where I was at. It did not appear to be a Bear or Hog but I would estimate that it weighed well over 100 lbs. I never could get a clear look at it and after it had been gone for some time I couldn't find any sign of it's passing. I watched it for over 10 min. but it never came clear of the brush where it was at and the ridge fell away so steep that I lost sight of it as it moved down toward the river.
