Sounds good but still wishing for a 2 buck limit JMO Why? Ditto, WHY??
IMO I think we should have a 2 buck limit any weapon,a doe tag that replaces the 3rd buck tag and that doe tag would be included in a gun permit.

Why in God's name would you want to drop to a 2 Buck limit?
IMO I think we should have a 2 buck limit any weapon,a doe tag that replaces the 3rd buck tag and that doe tag would be included in a gun permit.

Really expected some changes to the MZ season after hearing all of the complaints last year, but it really makes no difference to me.

One change I noted:
Hunters are required to check-in animals on the calendar day in which they are harvested also to aid in the agency’s law enforcement efforts.
This could be an issue on some late-afternoon archery kills?
Only thing I question on this year changes. It is not a "could be an issiue" but a "will be an issiue" to more than a few during the season. IMO

I really prefer the 36 hour time frame to check in game. It came in handy for late kills. We just need to go to telecheck!

All I know is if I'm searching for a deer until the wee hours of the morning, I'm calling the county officer to let him know what I'm doing. I don't think this situation happens all too often. Are you serious? You think the county officers want a call from every hunter in their county when they have to track a deer after dark? I dont see the need at all. If im not carrying a gun Im not doing anything wrong whatsoever, matter of fact just upholding the law and using all means to recover the game I shot. And if I have to check it in the next morning it should be checked with the previous days date, so I can legally hunt again that same day. Just common sense, IMO anyway.
