Quite simply, the technology is a scientific impossibility. To reactivate the carbon, it would need to be heated to such a high temperature that it would burn up the clothing. Doesn't work... never has, never will.

I have never trusted any of the claims that these companies made. Just doesn't pass the "common sense" or "sniff" test to me.

Yep, its been common knowledge since day one that the carbon could not be reactivated in this use. The military discards theirs after a single use! Some people want to believe anything they think will be the 'magic' trick that makes them succesful. I would have to agree with the Judge, they knew this lawsuit was coming, yet they never backed off from their claims of "total" scent elimination, knowing they were blatantly selling lies to the public!

i never believed none of that crap worked anyways and just laughed when i seen people buying it.
yeah the clothes look cool and thats why most people probably bought them. but the prices are outrageous.

Nothing eliminates human odor. And you cant beat a coyotes or a deers nose, unless the wind is in your favor. But from what i hear, it works great on turkeys.

Wes, the statement "forget the wind just hunt was what riled me! It should more accurately state, Forget the gimmicks, just check wind direction and hunt accordingly! I have never bought the scent lok material because it was over priced. had it been reasonbly priced i would have because i still hunt with the wind but while walking in you always lay down scent and deer especially big bucks catch it! I have witnessed it myself and one thing i have noticed about a buck that is 3 or older his nose never stops processing even if his attention, mouth, tongue or body in general is affixed to other matters. It is really neat to watch this nose processor at work almost secondary to the rest of things....good post!!

Didn't take a genius to see through that BS in my opinion. About the 37-thousandth time some dude in full head-to-toe scentlok gets busted ON TV I gave up all hope of the believers coming to their senses.

Must be why Lee and Tiffany changed the name of their show from "Scent Lok's Getting Close with Lee & Tiffany" to "The Crush with Lee & Tiffany". They must have seen this coming a long time ago. They changed the name of the show nearly 2 years ago.

If you exhale.......you are busted. Not by bad breath, but by the millions of human scented vapor molecules coming out of your
lungs. Skin flakes and clothing oders spread scent too, but just
breathing is the most detectible scent to an animal that is
looking out for it's life.
Oh yea, the can detect the most threatening vapor scents, with
one of the best noses in the world.
Maybe they need to market a self contained hunting suit similar
to what astronauts wear.
