I believe it is, yeah, but I'm not real familiar with the history of the property. I've been on it two years, is all.

That's the lease I believe we had years ago when Bowater first started leasing , man they have cut a lot of timber out of that area . Nimrod there are a lot of deer in that area and some pretty good bucks around !

You know, I haven't seen any hog sign yet, but I've been wondering what's taking them so long! We don't have river access, but there are a couple of springs in the area that keep some spots wet year round. Good turkey populations, lots of areas that are old clearcuts, thick as jungles, plus good hardwoods as well.
I've let some legal bucks walk. Tried closing the deal on a nice buck late last season, but just gave him a little bit of a trim across the top of his shoulders with my broadhead. But I do manage to take several deer off the lease each year with my bow and muzzleloader.
Lease year runs from July to July.
