A backcountry elk hunt! Camping under the stars for a week anticipating the morning. I'd rather use a bow during the rut just to hear them bugle, but a rifle would suit me too.

Whitetail Deer hands down for me. A trophy Whitetail buck (yes I said it...and I mean it) is renowned and dreamed about by many of the big game hunters around the world.
I know two African safari hunters right here in Maury County and their real dream is to kill a "trophy" Whitetail Buck, but it eludes them.
In my opinion, if you kill a book buck (minimum score), that is the ultimate feat and challenge of any kind of hunting.

I wouldn't pay for a deer hunt, but I would pay for an elk hunt out west or a black bear hunt up north.

Probably an Alaska Moose hunt, or African Elephant safari.
I'm a whitetail hunter from the south, and you guys who said elk are right on that. They're the most fun thing I've ever hunted. Like a 700 lb turkey!! they scream their heads off if you hit it right. Ya'll try to plan one of those, DIY on public land can be done relatively cheap.

There is no season for red stag so they cannot legally be killed and tagged. Unless of course you own it or have consent of the owner.
