I was sitting in the stand and my mom calls my cell, what are you doing she said when I answered thinking something was wrong? I replied uh hunting, she said well just tell your dad to call butch when you get to him I was thinking couldnt this wait....Ok mom I will Love you bye, soon as I put my phone in my pocket here comes this 6pt crusing through, he no longer is living lol, I called her right back and said call me back next saturday too cause I just killed one like right now after I hung up its still kicking Ha Ha!

Anyone ever forget to put their phone on vibrate and a deer is
very near your stand when it "plays the freaky music". If you
did, what was the "freaky" reaction that you got from the deer?

Not this past season but the season before, sometime around Halloween, I was sitting in my blind with my phone on vibrate. It's hard to get enough service in the thing to send or receive a regular text. However, somehow, it downloaded a picture message with sound. I looked at it and for some reason it played the music. Monster Mash is what I think it was. Had a deer blowing in front of me not lond after that. Don't guess it liked the music.
