What a blessing that is to have such a great cabin and land to manage! Actually, I think it would be called "an amazing amount of hard work and sacrifice" to acquire those things.
Indeed but blessings never hurt! Congrats on a great place! I hope to have something 1 day like that myself but if not the love of the outdoors and hunting will never fade!

Oh, I'll take blessings any time! Like good health, good family, good friends...

No special upkeep beyond a normal home. The only thing special we have to do spray the outside down with the chemical used to kill/repel carpenter ants, as it also kills/repels carpenter bees (the true nemesis of wood homes). Really, good to know as I really like the Log cabins! Pretty place BSK!

Here are some of my bucks that I had in photobucket. The first was killed in 1987 and was my first deer . The others are just bucks I've killed along the way.

It's day by day for me... Some days I will shoot big ones and some days I will shoot small ones. I get bored easy...

.44mag, the top buck was killed in 2006 and the bottom buck was killed in 1997. They were killed about 5 miles apart as the crow flies. Here are a few more I've killed over the years.
