I own property and 40 acres connected to me the guy that owns it commited suicide. I have inquired about it. So far no family anywhere. He was in his 80's I believe and never married. No family to speak of.
Would you hunt it?

I would find out who its going to. Get a title search, check for liens, etc. Then lowball whoever gets it and buy it.
