As with any biological process, their will be vaiation. Although most breeding will occur in KY to produce a late May and early June birth date, some breeding will be early and some late.

In areas with really good habitat, a few old, mature does get bred in mid Oct. Some old times call that time the False Rut but it's really just a very few does coming into estrus. Those does could have dropped fawns by now.
