My hunting buddy was out scouting a piece of ground we hunt yesterday for turkey and came across a doe and twin fawns. The doe tried to lead him off but the fawns were bedding in some tall stuff...this is the earliest I remember hearing of them...how about yall?
He said they seemed healthy and all so hopefully it will just give them a head start.

There was some hanky panky going on in October up there in Kentucky, I suppose.

As with any biological process, their will be vaiation. Although most breeding will occur in KY to produce a late May and early June birth date, some breeding will be early and some late.

In areas with really good habitat, a few old, mature does get bred in mid Oct. Some old times call that time the False Rut but it's really just a very few does coming into estrus. Those does could have dropped fawns by now.
